Track Your Order

Following Your Parcel from Hong Kong to Your Door

Every MythCove order that ships internationally is trackable. This page explains where to find your tracking number, what the statuses mean, and when a quiet parcel is worth worrying about.

Finding Your Tracking Number

You receive two emails from us. The first is the order confirmation, sent immediately after payment — it confirms what you bought, not that it has shipped. The second is the shipping confirmation, sent once your parcel is handed to the carrier, and it contains your tracking number and a tracking link.

If you have the order confirmation but not the shipping confirmation, your order is still being prepared. Check the dispatch window on the product page or on Shipping & Dispatch.

No emails at all? Check your spam and promotions folders for messages from mythcove.com, then write to support@mythcove.com with the email address you used at checkout.

Tracking It

Use the link in your shipping confirmation. If the carrier’s own site shows nothing useful once the parcel has left Hong Kong, try a universal tracker such as 17TRACK or Parcels — international parcels change hands between carriers, and these sites follow a number across all of them.

A new tracking number usually takes 24–72 hours to show its first scan. Until the parcel is physically scanned into the network, “not found” is normal and not a sign that anything is wrong.

What the Statuses Mean

  • Label created / Info received — we have booked the shipment. The parcel has not moved yet.
  • Picked up / Accepted — the carrier has it.
  • Departed / In transit — it is travelling. Long silences are normal here, especially over water.
  • Arrived at destination country — it has landed and is waiting for customs.
  • Customs clearance / Held by customs — being processed by your country’s authorities. See Tax & Duties; if charges are due, the parcel waits until you pay them.
  • Out for delivery — it is on a van today.
  • Delivery attempted — nobody was there. The carrier will leave a card with collection or redelivery instructions, and will usually hold the parcel for a limited number of days before returning it.
  • Delivered — the carrier has recorded it as handed over.

When Tracking Goes Quiet

Gaps of several days between scans are routine on international routes, and a parcel is not lost simply because it has not updated. Write to us if:

  • There has been no new scan for 10 business days while in transit
  • Tracking shows delivered but nothing has arrived
  • The parcel is held by customs for more than 7 days with no request for payment or documents
  • The parcel is marked returned to sender

If tracking says delivered and the parcel is not there

Before contacting us, please check around the property and with neighbours, look for a carrier card, and ask anyone else at the address. Carriers sometimes scan a parcel as delivered a few hours before it physically arrives. If it has still not appeared after 48 hours, write to support@mythcove.com with your order number and we will open an investigation with the carrier. Investigations take time — usually 5–15 business days — and we will tell you what we hear as we hear it.

Wrong Address

If you notice a mistake in your address, tell us immediately. Before dispatch we can correct it free of charge. After dispatch we can only pass a change request to the carrier, which they may refuse or charge for. A parcel returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be reshipped once you cover the new postage.
